As many of you know, my friend, and fellow director Jeremy Weiss, and I have been compiling interesting and high quality stock footage for sale on Pond5… and just because we love making movies.
Just the other night, we set out for downtown Los Angeles with a gigantic list of places to cover. There was so much to shoot, so much practice and fun to be had. What we didn’t know was that we were about to stumble upon a strange little story within the 2nd Street Tunnel.
As we were doing a time lapse and getting other miscellaneous footage, a man walked into frame and began cleaning the sidewalk, the place where he would soon be sleeping. He was so, so careful to clean everything, the cracks, the joints between concrete slabs… his every effort was meticulous.
Below is a beautiful piece Jeremy edited, which was almost immediately discovered by 3minuteshorts.ca and posted! I’ll be posting my own version soon.
It’s an interesting experiment seeing how two people can see the same thing differently.
